How to digitise driving licence for
Chinese nationals?
Step 1
Select the China-ASEAN Identification Pass application on WeChat.
Step 2
Click on the application for cross-border driving licence under the profile.
Step 3
Upload a photo of your licence document into the application and submit.
Step 4
Upon approval, the Zetrix-Xinghuo VC certificate will be generated below the profile.
Step 5
Select either Zetrix or Xinghuo Wallet to store the Zetrix-Xinghuo VC certificate.
Step 6
Import the Zetrix-Xinghuo VC certificate into your wallet via the private key generated. Display the VC certificate QR code for the traffic police to scan and verify.

It is developed and operated by the Beibu Gulf Investment Group, recognised for use by relevant countries, interconnected based on the Xinghuo Chain Network.
ZCert is a verifiable credentials platform that encrypts, issues and store verifiable credentials or IDs on the blockchain.
The driving licence issued by the The Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China. Upon authentication and verification on the China-ASEAN Identity Pass application, it can be used to drive vehicles on the road in designated countries. When encountering inspections by relevant traffic management personnel, the verification is carried out via the Zetrix-Xinghuo connectivity layer.
The driving licence verification is conducted through blockchain technology, which checks whether the user's electronic driving licence has been reported. The verification process involves the verification, authorised by the user through the blockchain, and only receives ""yes"" or ""no"" verification results. The personal information of Chinese nationals is always stored within China, ensuring the security of user information.
It is valid in Malaysia at the moment and will be recognised in other ASEAN countries in the near future.
