Summary Job Description & Areas of Responsibility
- Design and develop creative and engaging website layout to attract users
- Manage each project from staging to launch
- Ensure complete, mobile responsive website design for all device sizes
- Ensure proper measures to carry out maintenance, troubleshoot, and examine problems in the code to propose resolution methods
- Work closely with the marketing and web development team on the execution of creative work
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
- Capable of producing quality work and meeting tight deadlines
- Copy editing and proofreading
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media or equivalent
- 3 years of experience as a web designer with a background working on projects for companies in various industries
- Working with different content management systems, specifically WordPress – using themes like Divi, Elementor, and similar themes
- Excellent visual design skills
- Solid hands-on skills: Photoshop, Illustrator and XD / MarvelApp
- Up-to-date experience with international web protocols, standards, and technologies
- Adaptable and willing to learn new techniques
- Proficiency in front-end development web programming languages such as HTML and CSS – JQuery and JavaScript are a bonus
- Good understanding of content management systems
- Have experience in working with a web/digital agency
